Karbon360 by Habitat is now a PACT conformant solution

Karbon360, the carbon accounting platform built by Habitat, is now a PACT conformant solution. It passed PACT conformance testing for Technical Specifications v3.0 in November 2026 and is listed on the PACT Network.
What this means for our clients
More and more EU customers ask their suppliers for the carbon footprint of the products they buy. Today that usually arrives as a questionnaire or a spreadsheet. With PACT, the customer's system can request a product carbon footprint directly from the supplier's system, in one standard format.
Because Karbon360 is PACT conformant, a manufacturer in Kosovo, Albania or the wider Western Balkans can publish a footprint per product once, and any PACT conformant system on the customer side can read it. For exporters of steel, aluminium and other goods covered by the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the same data behind their CBAM reporting can be shared this way.
What we tested
We completed the PACT conformance test for Karbon360 (software version 1.0), which implements the PACT Technical Specifications v3.0. The tests cover how two systems authenticate, the shared data model, filtering and pagination, events and error handling. Karbon360 passed all 41 tests, so it can exchange product-level carbon footprint data with other conformant solutions securely and in the same format.
Conformance is about data exchange. It does not check how a footprint was calculated: each footprint states the method behind it, and independent verification of the underlying data still applies where the rules require it.
About PACT
The Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) is an initiative that works to unlock decarbonization through transparency in value chains. It establishes a standardized methodology for product-level carbon footprints and the technology infrastructure to exchange them, bringing together companies, technology providers, industry initiatives, standard setters and regulators.
PACT is hosted by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), co-convenor of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Thank you to the PACT team at WBCSD for supporting the conformance process.
